Glow Plugs

Whats the easiest method to remove mushroomed out glow plugs from a 6.3L engine head? thanks in advance!

be careful if the end comes off you'll have to pull the head. we had one do that and ran it for a long time it sounded like it had a rod knocking. have you tried penetrating oil or carb cleaner, sometimes its carbon build up.
