Billet Steering Wheel size ?
I'm looking at a billet steering wheel for my 64.
They come in 2 sizes. 14 or 15 1/2 inches. The 14" looks pretty small, what are you guys using? 14 or 15 1/2 inch |

Re: Billet Steering Wheel size ?
I don't have billet on my truck, but did one on my 71 Pontiac. You want the bigger one. And you don't want it at all if you don't have power steering ;-)

Re: Billet Steering Wheel size ?
I have the smaller size and would definitely go with the larger size if I were to do it again. It doesn't cause any problems it is more of a visual thing.
I do have power steering. |

Re: Billet Steering Wheel size ?
Other potential options:
1.Keep stock wheel, get a tilt column. Keeps original look, provides amble room 2.Keep stock wheel but cut it up to reduce size to your liking. Quite a few articles on it on this forum 3.Reduce stock wheel and install tilt column There are also stock looking new steering wheels for Impalas (15 inch) that I have seen in the 60-66 trucks, explore your options, good luck!
