Cruise control

I have a Gen 2 LT-1, and I’m doing wiring right now. It will run on a 0411 pcm from a LS pickup. I want to add cruise control while I’m already working the harness. Looks like it’s a simple deal from searching around here. Two questions…

Where have you mounted your cruise control modules? Anybody hidden one?

Is there any option for a switch on the column, like ls1nova previously made? He hasn’t responded to PM.

Pickup is a 68 C10 short bed. Thanks for any help.

Re: Cruise control

Here is a write up ls1nova done on cruise control using a gm drive by cable module. All info in there should work with your setup.
As for hiding the module, I think a hole in the firewall and a grommet to run the cable out and you could hide it under the dash. And it will be a lot easier to hide the wiring that way as well.
