PS Inverted Flare Fittings - 5/8'' -11/16'' to AN

Man I've struggled for the last hour trying to find the right power steering box fittings - running hydroboost setup and I'm looking to run some ptfe black hose.

I am looking for the two ps box fittings - I believe they are 11/16''-18 IFM - Inverted Flare Male and a 5/8''-18 IFM. I can find the straight style fittings but those will not work due the clearance of the inner fender.

What i need ( or believe I need) are 90 degree fittings that come off the box but I cannot for the life of me find them.

Any help guys ?

Picture is just because everyone likes pics ...............

^ ^ ^ We are no help on the aftermarket style AN fittings for the style of hose that you are wanting to run, but we did just happen to finish up a P/S conversion on a customers ride and have a few pics to share detailing the OE style hose fitting bends and tight inner fender to hose clearance issue at the p/s gear. Maybe something like this would work for you with the straight fittings? https://www.ebay.com/itm/28357639929...Cclp%3A2047675
Am using -6 hoses myself on all lines except res to pump return which is -12. From my initial observation the standard -6 90 degree hose ends will work out fine in my case.

Re: PS Inverted Flare Fittings - 5/8'' -11/16'' to AN

Richard - I agree those would work if they had an inverted flare on the end however that is what I am struggling to find. I'm surprised there isn't more options for inverter flare fittings in a 90 degree .....

Classic Bowtie - nice work - I wonder if you could make you metal line just like you have it but once past the inner fender put an AN flare fitting on the end ??

Understand I said to use them with the straight inverted flare adapters. Just looking at pic posted, top of steering box looks 1.25-1.5" to top of frame. If those fittings threaded right into box the lines would not go over the frame. Bet the combo would get the -6 lines real close to top of frame.

Re: PS Inverted Flare Fittings - 5/8'' -11/16'' to AN

I purchased the factory hose and cut the rubber part off. Then attached the new hose to the factory bent steel fitting. First attempt was using a crimping tool for air conditioning.
That one leaked, so I ended up using a hydraulic flair tool. The biggest issue was finding the sleeve that is crimped. I ended up making on the lathe. I believe the only reason the air-conditioning crimp didn't work was because I machined the ferrule a little too thick on the wall diameter. Yes, it was a PITA. Something I just couldn't find. Took me a week to get it leak free.

Classic Bowtie - Can you make the hose with a 18Mx1.5 end on it for my hydroboost ? I really was wanting AN fittings and PTFE Black hose to match everything else but if rubber will work I'll settle for that. I would have you make the other

Call these guys up. I bought all my stuff through them. It’s a real pain in the ass. But it’ll be worth it in the end.

They have bare hoses and ends. So you can make your own. That’s what I did.

They are! I made a order of power steering hoses and return lines, they called me up and redid my order and saved me a lot of money.
