Kick panel vents leak
My kick panel vents have a slow stream of water leaking from them when it rains. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Re: Kick panel vents leak
Would guess the drain holes at the bottom of cavity are plugged and they are filling up with water. Remove the flaps and reach in to get as much debris out as possible. Flush out with a hose through cowl until water flows out bottom.

Re: Kick panel vents leak
I had a truck so plugged it took a shop vac about 20 minutes per side to get all the crap out of them. You'll have to get creative with a stiff coat hanger or something similar to loosen the stuff up before it is empty. That's what I had to do anyway. Could only get my hand in so far.

Here's a link so you can see the area that fills up with debris from the cowl vent.
The arrows in the photo show where the water drains past. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=721974 Blowing air from the bottom while vacuuming helps.
