Build dates
I searched the forum.
The 67-72 has a great build date thread. Haven't found much about the 73-80 dates. And the 73 is 50... now that sounds weird. Or just wait til July 3rd and call it 50.

Re: Build dates
Mostly when this was built. The title says 1st sold in 72 so I'm sure it's passed by already

Re: Build dates
That is a big ask.
There were seven assembly plants building squares, each with it's own start date, line rate, number of productive shifts, scheduled downtime and unscheduled breakdowns, etc. Each VIN sequence from each plant increments up independently from the other based on the above, sometimes with separate VIN sequences and starting points between Chevrolet and GMC. Better get started collecting some data. K

Re: Build dates
- unless - your truck was built in Canada, or in the US for Canadian consumption.
Then GM of Canada would have your build information, including RPO content and build dates. K

Re: Build dates
Was built in Fremont, and the glove box seat and the warranty decal is all long gone.
I had just realized it's 50 now when I posted. Didn't know if the 73-80 bunch had the research like the 67-72 guys have done. Like my Tarrytown 68 is a late build, and was curious about this one. Not much left that is 73 the cab frame core support and bed floor.
