Tonneau Cover - Stake Pockets

I didn't find too many options out there for Tonneau Covers, of course a custom maker could make whatever you need.

I put a Truxedo RealTruck Lo Pro on my 72C20, which actually fit pretty good. I had to order an extra front rubber seal, which was wider, to cover the front of the bed from them. The rear over the tailgate fit well.

The problem is your stake pockets are not covered. I ended up putting some made for late model Dodge trucks that are very close to the proper size. I got some double sided sticky tape and spent the time cutting and placing it all around the edges. I was not confident that they would stay in, especially at highway speeds and these Michigan potholes

Just for info if any other members are looking at their options for Tonneau covers and stake pockets.

I'm glad you flipped the picture. I absolutely refuse to stand on my head in the morning as I usually do things like that at night, so I've been told! By the way my cover also covers the pockets.

Thanks for the flip. Posted from my phone and could not figure it out on why it's upside-down.

Thanks HO455 for the photo.
That’s the look I’m interested in.
I like how that covers the stake pockets and the top of the tail gate.
Your tonneau looks like a tri-fold , correct?
Could you please elaborate on the manufacturer and model number for a square body?
Thanks

I have the same Lo Pro Tonneau as you do. I opened your EBay kink and wondering are the stake pocket an after market product or a Chrysler part witha part number.

I don't have a tonneau cover, but I used 1988-1998 Chevy truck tie downs in the stake pockets of my 1972, so that might be a good application to look for in regard to stake pocket covers.

Re: Tonneau Cover - Stake Pockets

A little update.
After procrastinating to choose a tonneau cover that fit well and covered the stake pockets,
I purchased an Extang Trifecta 2.0 Tri-Fold Tonneau Model #92535 for a 1973 C10
As we all know from many threads here on the site, there are not a lot tonneau options for the 67 to 72 C10/C20’s.
The Revolution and Tonno-Pro models are no longer produced/offered.
Extang only goes back and offers 1973 to 1986 square body tonneaus.
Calling Extang they could not give me specific dimensions of their cover for the 1973 C10/20.
The one man install was lightweight and a breeze. Removes easily if needed.
The fit dimension wise, was near perfect.
Finally got the bed covered.

Hope this helps someone out there on the fence about getting a tonneau cover for their 8ft C10 bed.
Thanks All,

Thanks All,
I would be very interested to see what the mounting hardware looks like. Was there any drilling required?

68 C10 Driver,
No drilling required.
Front of the folding tonneau (cab end) has four clamps that hand tighten, two to the rail and two safety lanyard clamps for securing the tonneau when traveling when the cover is folded up.
Tailgate end has two pull down sliding tension clamps that attach to the bed rail.
Super easy.

Hopes this helps
