Identify control arms
Looking at replacing my steering box and might do the tie rods as well. I am trying to figure out if my 70 gmc pickup still have the correct 70 crossmember and arms or if I am lucky enough if someone did a 73 upgrade.
How do I tell? Here are a few pics |

Re: Identify control arms
Those are original. Your clue is the greaseable bushings. 73 up had rubber bushings. I personally don't see that as an upgrade.

Re: Identify control arms
Not in my opinion. Some people like them for the slightly smoother ride.
