shipping a 350 block?

Do you guys know who to call to get a 350 sbc bare block shipped from northern Calif to Tennessee? and about what it may cost? thanks Rick

It can be strapped to a pallet and shipped by truck freight.. Call one local to you...

I just checked with my Contact at Fastenal.

Fastenal still Doesn't ship from the West coast to the East coast at this time.

SRU1436 there are several great shop in northern california that build awesome motors. This is a cherry standard bore 350 block. that I will build here in Tenn

I had a LS bare block shipped from CA to MN a few years ago.
It was packed in a plastic tub kind of like you use to store your winter clothes.
Solid foam on the bottom, sides and top. Lots of duct tape.
Went UPS. Zero issues.

Looks like a bare 350 block is 150 lbs so it could go UPS.

Fed X Freight. Put in on a pallet. Needs to be able for pickup with a pallet jack FedEx truck has. It will be a lift gate truck. Often curb PU and curb drop off service. Furniture dolly on either end makes moving it from curb to garage easy. Engine hoist to stand from there.
