K1500 Leaf spring weight
I have to replace the leaf springs on my K1500 EC. The ones I bought may be too heavy for my truck. I may have to take out a leaf or two. Does anyone have an idea of the weight of stock leaf springs? The new aftermarket ones I have are easily nearing a hundred pounds per side.

Re: K1500 Leaf spring weight
Sounds about right. You would either have 4 or 5 springs depending on engine and options. 5 leaf is 96 pounds, 4 leaf is 78:
