WTB - Dipstick tube and dipstick for 350

I need to replace the dipstick and tube on my blazer. The stock type does not work well for me. I want one that comes straight up
to about valve cover height.

Is there such a thing ! I tried the chrome thing from the Checkers store and it wouldn't fit in the hole. Mine is sloppy and
leaks. Anyone have something that would work?

I believe they had ones that went up a turned 90 degrees to the front for the 4x4's. I would like to find something like that too. When I start looking I was planning to check out chevy vans to see what they used through out the years.

This will solve your problems.

Lokar parts are like Snap-On tools. Once you use them. you never want to go back to anthing else.

It mounts anywhere you want it on the firewall.

On my 77 chevy van(350 engine), the dipstick comes way up past the valve cover and probably farther foreward than the front of the engine, might not be really nice looking but it would be easy to get to.
