STock Back Spacing??

I just picked up some wheels and tires from a local discount tire shop, went home, put them on my '67 with stock drum brakes, and the fronts are rubbing against the outer tie rod and upper A arm. I told the Guy there that they were for a stock drum '67, so I didn't check the backspacing as I thought he knew what he was doing. So what I really need to know, what is the standard or stock back spacing for a '67 stock drum set up.

Think its 3.5 inchs on the stock 15x6 rims. The 15x7 rims are 4.5.
