Last three months have been soooo busy for but I finally
got to swap out motors and find/rebuid the long awaited
700r trasmission. I tore open the front end and sanded, primed
and painted the engine bay and this weekend I'll do the inside cab if weather permits.

That's the only way to fly. I've done it several times. I was reluctant at first but it works great and is safe not mention easier than using chains.

I have picked up big blocks with the same type plate! Granted it looks a little scary but everone I know uses a plate!

sorry for the delay in responding but my computer bugged out.
the manifold is an elderbrock dual plane air gap manifold and yes
the carb plate will also lift a big bock motor.
the black is ppg true black.

Say Kickboxer3........did you paint the underside and firewall of your truck then set it back on the frame to do the rocker? Or did you put the cab on 5 gal buckets or something while the cab was off to do the metal work? My cab is off and I am cleaning/sanding the underside now but will need to either reinstall or prop it up somehow to do metal work.
