Help

I have stripped my suburban, but am having trouble getting the fixed rear window out. I am talking about the one on the drivers side on what would be the door, and right behind the roll down window. any info on getting this out without using a bfh would be greatly apreciated. I already took out the screw at the top and the bolts at the bottom of the regulator for the roll down window.
thanks in advance.

Talking

If you are talking about the small glass, (6'"x18" approx.) then it is probably stuc like my son's was. At the advise of one of the board members we got his out by using a srewdriver at the top back corner and pried it out. You will want to have a tool with smooth corners, (no sharp edges), and you keep the rubber between the screwdriver and the glass. It will roll out out from the top out. It worked very well for us even though it was a little nerve racking. Once it starts rolling you can pull it out with your hands.

I assume that you have taken the window guide out already.

Good luck!

Jim
