We'll need the cam specs and compression ratio before we can venture a guess.

target 350

I put a target 350 in my 69 and i swear its the best ive ever had. very reliable and would burn out all the way into third. i had a 3 on the tree. faster than my friends 383 after i put a carb intake and cams with flathead pistons

I think the targetmaster 350s are 8.5:1 compression
the specs on that cam are 114 LSA 204/214 @ .050 .420/.442 lift
I show peak HP @ 4500 RPMs = 279
peak TQ @ 3500 RPMs=361
if it were me personally Id use either a Q-jet or a 570 CFM Holley Street Avenger. just my 2cents. John

Here are the specs for the cam. I was thinking about going with a different carb but Ive used the 600 cfm before and it worked great so I decided to stay with that brand

cam specs 305-350 TBI and LG-4, 244 intake/264 exhaust duration, hydraulic, camshaft
Duration at .050 in.: 194 intake/214 exhaust

The 350 is 8.5:1 compression
