307 for sale in Rhode Island also 350 4 bolt

I have a good running 69, 307 long block. I pulled it from my dump because it burned too much oil for my liking and I had a new 350 to put in it. When it was out of the truck I looked in the exhuast ports and there was oil pouring down the valve stems. The compression was pretty good and oil in the cylinders did not change it much so I think it just needs a valve job and some seals. Like I said I had a 350 for the dump and with towing my tractor around with a loaded bed I kind of needed it in there. I would keep the 307 but I am moving up to MASS soon and kinda need to lighten the load. $200 or best offer. pickup or dropoff somewhere between SE RI and western MASS.

The 350 should never have been torn down in the first place. I still have the crank, block, rods/pistons, pan intake and heads. All need a good hot tank but you could probably throw in rings and bearings and hone it and be done. Would keep it also but as stated, time to lighten the load. $400 or best
