I believe they are 194/150, they have been magnafluxed. They are completely original and come with the original valves

since there original that makes them pretty worthless
To run with modern fuel they will need hardened seats installed.. Alot of people think that double humps are gold and your liable to get at least 100-400 for a pair of them depending on the buyer |

If they are unported X heads I would be interested in them. I sent you an e-mail about them.

They are not worthless. In fact they are a desireable head and a myth that you must have hardened seats. I have ran two sets of double humps for a total of 95k miles with no problems whatsoever. Granted, both engines are pretty much stock and if I was going to pull them hard like with a heavy trailer or heavily modify I would install seats, but it is not mandatory for a mostly stock engine used to drive a pickup. Biggest problem I see with the sets in question is the lack of accessory holes, which could be D&T'd

ahhhh. no need to be sorry. There are still nice heads, just not what I need at this time. If they are unaltered you may have some luck selling them to someone restoring a corvette or something like that who is looking for an unaltered stock head of a certain year and type. You may have some luck also selling them to someone who races a stock class as I do. I just happen to have a set of 461's and 462's. Just looking fo X's. Being unaltered they may be worth a little more then usual. Good luck with them.

They
r good heads I f they r all original I would start around $200 I personally don't think you can tell the newer 1's flow better by just driving.I put a set (461) on my 327 and man these things scream.Plus you can redo them for around $300.This is my opinion only Good Luck

I bought of 461's last year that we're ported out a little. Nice Heads, really brought things to life in my 355. I like them so much I'm going to rework them and put them on a 406 I'm doing. I paid $150.00 for mine in New York, everyone says I stole them and we're impressed seeings I'm a girl!!!LOL They say I should of paid around $250 to $300.

It really depends on how much you are going to have to spend on them. I have bought them cheap, but had to spend too much to get them reconditioned. I have also bought a set for $450, but they were ready to bolt on with hardened seats, roller rockers, stainless valves, etc.--worth the extra money. They may not be quite as good as Vortec, but regardless of what some will say, still cheaper--not even counting the necessity of a new manifold, etc.
To be philosophical a minute--people will unintentionally spend too much for something new, realize their error, get defensive, then try to justify their mistake to others by "downing" the alternative. There is nothing wrong with the "hump" heads, provided you do your research and have realistic expectations.
