Guage Question
I was looking at a picture the other day and I was wondering. Could I change all those guages to an after market set? Something like AutoMeter or something?

Here we go...
Of course, 5" tach, 5" speedo; 2 3/8" volt, fuel level, water temp, oil pressure, vacuum, and trans temp; 2 1/16" air pressure (x5)- 1 for each air bag and 1 for the tank. It may very well look like a pilot's cockpit when it is done. It ought to look pretty good.

Well..
it won't be too bad $$$-wise. I bought 7 new gauges for $100 from a buddy. I kept the ones I need and sold the others on ebay. I ended up getting 4 gauges I needed and $80 for the ones I didn't need.

How are you guys wiring these? Are you keeping the plug harness that plugs into the circuit panel?

I used the wires for the turn signals, and dimmer switch from that harness.

Painless
I bought the Painless universal dash wiring harness so I can unplug it for easy removal of my Boese Engineering billet dash.

Why is that water temp gauge black, and the others are white in that last post
 I would want a matching...Also... Would getting another glove box door and installing gauges in it fit?! Just grab a nice hefty hole saw set, and cut some holes in it. Mount them up, do something fancy for the steering column, and put a couple of holes in it to mount it to the dash...
