Source for door skin?

I think JC Whitney has them, but is there anywhere else?

Does GM sell them?

Huh, it worked that time. I tried a while ago and got a "Page Cannot Be Found." Oh well, works now.

I have a question.

Do I cut my current skin somewhere below the window and weld the new piece on?

you can section it there, or put the whole skin on. If you do decide to section the skin, do it somewhere in the upright posts. There is less to weld there.

Or you could support Captkaos
as suggested above. He does his best to sell to forum members at a very competitive price. He also runs a very informative website and the proceeds keep that site alive. Buying from him is like buying from a friend, because he has helped so many people solve their 73-87 problems...

I am all for supporting board members when possible.

Let me get my suspension stuff straight first. Then I will get one.

I would prefer not to section the skin. The pic I saw looked like it didn't have the posts on it, that's all.

there are patch panels that can go on at the body line as well. What is wrong with your current doors?

the pass. side looks like someone took a bat to it. Nothing structural, just the skin.
