Finally!! What a great Site!

Hello to all, finally came across your site - timing couldn't be better. Have spent a fair amount of time shopping for parts and info to help me put together my 67. I'm a harley guy who just got tired driving second rate trucks and figured it was time to get back to the best...old chevy trucks. I picked up a 67 small window long bed last year and a 71 for a daily driver while I baby the 67. Recently got a great deal on a tach dash, tail gate aand a few other goodies and I would like some advice on who to go to for suspension stuff. Would like to lower a good 4 inches with drop spindles and springs. Also would like a little advice on wiring up the tach dash being as the original dash only had the basic gauges. Under dash replacement harness is a little pricey. Any pointers appreciated. An again, great to find you all.

Welcome to the site from WI

I've heard good things about Early Classic Enterprises for suspension packages. Goodluck.

Oh yeah, post some pics

Welcome
This tip page will allow you to use the existing harness.
I'm doing the same switch.

from soggy western Washington.

Try the search function for your wiring question. There is a list of vendors on the front page - http://67-72chevytrucks.com - that can help with your suspension parts. I can recommend Early Classic Enterprizes and Classic Performance Parts.

good luck, scott

Welcome from NC. Since these trucks are all over 30 years old, I would suggest you replace all the wiring---bumper to bumper for $160. Look into HotRod Wires---www.hotrodwires.com I have bought a set and haven't used it yet, but it looks to be well made in the box! Sure a lot more reasonable in price than Painless, etc. and appears to be just as good.

Welcome from Texas!
Probably all your questions you will ever have will be found using the search function. If it's not there, ask away and I gaurantee someone here has an answer for you, or can point you in the right direction.
I seriously think that this board could build a truck and remember every bolt and do it all from memory.
