Door Tops

Wasnt somebody going to be making the small plastic pieces for door tops. I cant believe that there are no aftermarket parts available. Anybody got some they want to part with. I really only need the drivers side but willing to buy both.

I see them occasionally on ebay. Put an thread on the parts board, and I think you may find a few.
As for the guy who was going to be making these I haven't ever heard if he got them done or not...I can't remember his name either sorry.

I do not know how to link this back to the door cap thread that was going on back in Oct & Nov, but here was 72beast's reply at the time when asked by JayDubBlazer:

Door tops
What ever happened to the guy that was going to grow or make new door tops for the blazer door. I couldn't find the post.

Maybe 72beast will see this and provide us an update....I need a set of door caps too.

I saw the pic in the other thread about this piece but being a Blazer newbie, I don't know where it goes and what it does.

What is it for?

Blazer doors are basically truck doors with the top and rear window frame cut off to accomodate the fiberglass top. If you have the top off and the window down you dont have a window frame hanging out there. The door caps go on the top of the remaniing door frame above the wing window and helps to prevent leagage and cover up the hole in the door frame after it is cut off. These pieces are hard to find.

PICKMUP

72BLAZERDUDE started this thread so I assume he gets first dibs on them. I will buy them if he doesn't. It did not sound like 1970blazin or jamie72 were interested in buying but if that is not true, they were ahead of me as well.

Thanks,

Darrell
