The storm last night did some damage
Guys, the storm last night did some damage to my 67 hood. I had it proped up on the fence and one of those 60MPH gusts blew it on to its top side and pushed in the front part of the middle tip.
can some one give me some good advice on how to push it back out ? thanks, sswj

Hey Superfly,
I had to pick my chairs up too. Too funny man, good one. Whitesswj, As for the hood, I would take my time and find a way to fix it or just get another. From what I see and hear everyday, Hoods are a dime a dozen. Mother nature always has a way to reach sometimes. Good luck in finding a solution. Billy

wind
Dam wind!! I had my '68 hood blow over on my deck a couple years ago. Prior to that it had not even a pea sized ding on it, nothing! Just about shed a tear! It put 3 small dings in the nose that matched up with the deck boards. Not easy to fix since they are double walled in the nose area with no access to the backside. I'd like some of those dime a dozen hoods!

Jlance,
No offence ment in anyway to anyone on that dime a dozen comment but, Out here where I am there are hoods everywhere to be had of all makes and models of 67-72! Example: Found 5 GMC fully assembled trucks in a local recking yard last week. All with sweet, non rusted hoods. I have found lots of hoods in surrounding states of Nevada and Arizona. This is about the only dime a dozen part to be found out here. Finding these fully assembled GMC'S in one place at the same time was a godsend miracle!! I'm sure alot of area's are like that. There are more of certain parts than other places have. Ever come this way Jlance, let me know and I will be more than glad to hook up and show you where some sweet parts are. Respectfully Billy
