Replacing "Dumbo Mirrors"... with ???
The doors on my ride are the 81-87 style and on the outside of the doors, where the mirror bolts on, there are two raised places for the mirror bolts to go into. What are my options for replacement mirrors if i dont want to go throught the pain of removing these 'mirror stubs' ???

Without removing the holes your only option is the dumbo mirror. The low profile factory ones mount in differnt holes.

Remove the dumbo ears. I did and don't regret it. Click on the pictures in my signature.

i discovered those tabs/holes this weekend too. i had scored some older small mirrors off of a chrysler at the junk yard this weekend. i think i am going to wait till i get the new doors to put these mirrors on.
