Seat Re-upholstery

I need to get the tilt bench in my truck recovered. Is this a job best left to a pro or can I do it myself?

Just to add to the question, what can I expect it to cost to have someone recover my seat? Nothing fancy, just cloth and vinyl similar to the factory cover.

i got a local quote of 225-275.00 the other day. i have taken the other ride to him before i know his work is good and i trust that his quote is respectable. once i get the new dash pad, and carpet (woo hoo coming tomorrow) i will see if he will hook me up for 275 for the full recover, and popping in the new rug for me.

Just had mine done, $150 plus cost of material
I went with vinyl, the velour just didn't do it for me.

now to find those elusive black seatbelts, switched from maple(burgundy) to black interior. Going to replace the top carpet in my door panels with that perforated vinyl soo. Had my sunvisors done in it too.
Take Care

seat recover

We have a guy locally that will redo them with new padding and all back to homemade factory stitching for 250.00. I going to have mine done in a few weeks.
