rear gears under 3.07?

Question: did the 12 bolt truck rears we have ever come with a ratio lower then 3.07? Like 2.76's or somthing?

You can get a 2.76 aftermarket. As far as I know GM only offered 3.08.

I dont think my 1980 12 bolt is aftermarket,

and it has 2.76.

My 1980 K10 has a 12 bolt n it and it has 2:73 gears in it.

2.56!! Wow! That would be a perfect gear with a 1:1 trans ratio for cruising.

My 79 Silverado (parts truck) came with a 12-bolt 2.76:1 ratio option# 1HG2
