which size fit my blazer

Which size will fit my blazer. My friend has a pair and we think they will fit but i want to make sure. The backspacing is the issue i have in question. The rims he has a 15" and they are the correct bolt pattern. No, i wont be selling the stock wheels either

Re: which size fit my blazer

I'm gonna go with:

16.5x12" 5 or 6 lug w/5" backspacing
PCW51-65285

I would add some accessories of 12 inch lift and some 38x15.50's. If it were me of course.

Re: which size fit my blazer

bahhh i just got 1/2 that amount of lift and 33's

I'm not asking wich, i'm sorry i was a bit blzd when i posted that before... i have stock 15" blazer rims... , so i'm pretty sure the tires will fit with said wheels, and i'm pretty sure the bolt patern and spacing is correct, i'm just worried is there any backspacing issues i should worry about or will they fit NP?

I think the black rims will go nice, and i'm going to get them for a song

I think they should stick out a bit wider too

Re: which size fit my blazer

Looks like your only choices are the 8" or 10" width with 3.5" backspace.

You could try it, but I don't think there's any way the 16.5" wheels with 5" backspace will clear the tie rod ends in front. Besides, the 16.5" wheels have a weak lip that will pop the tires if you air them down. I've got 16" wheels with a 4" backspace and they sit pretty close to the rod ends. 16" with a 4.5" backspace hits.

black steel wheels would be a visual down-grade. stick with the stock rally's, they look ton's better

I used to think the same way until I started bashed around in the rocks and such.
I just took oof a sweet set of Weld alloy wheels and installed those black steelies that I always said I'd never run.
NOTE: this is for the off road abuse truck though.

I still prefer rally's or alloy's for the street any day.

Med71 -
33's fit stock w/moderate wheeling. (BobbyK does even better)
4" lift w/33's is good for wheeling.
4" lift w/35's and your back to moderate
6" lift w/35's your good to go again

Typical 'will fit' is a 3.5/4" back spacing, anything more and what RestoRod say's is true.

Re: which size fit my blazer

I think i'd mount a better pair of tires for the sand like some baja claws on them if i got them if i started mobbing the dunes alot more often once it warms up ( haha as if 60-70's arent warm enough). I'd keep these tires and wheels the way they are. I like these rims alot, but wouldnt mind some change

Visual downgrade? That`s a matter of opinion. Here`s your Blazer on steroids:

What size tires are you wanting to use and how much lift is that?

Re: which size fit my blazer

Nice wheel

"Typical 'will fit' is a 3.5/4" back spacing, anything more and what RestoRod say's is true" - this is what i was looking for - thanks guys!

special K - i've had that mag for a while

As far as tire size goes, i think i'm set for now, and with 33's and 6" lift..., well, i dont think i need to worry about running...

I went w/ 33's unlike 35's like most, so i can stuff them more, and unfortunatly most of my mobbing is still ON the roads/highways. The truck for sure stops and goes faster with the 33"s vs. anything larger.

my lift makes my 33"s look mad small

That would be a real live "original" Mini Cooper.

Talk about small! Kinda cool though.
