WIW?? 1969 1/2 ton rear diff 4.10 posi.
I am looking at a posi rearend . It's a 69 model so it is a coil sprung 6 lug set up. So i really would like to know what is a good price to pay for it.

For buying, I would say anything less than $150 is decent. I'm assuming the gears and carrier are useable. The 4:10 gear might hurt it some.

wow, those are bargins. I would say between 400 and 500 since a posi unit alone is 400 and another 100 for the install kit.

I sold one for $500, so if you can get it for $100-300 its a deal. 4:11's are desirable for an OD trans or a race type application, also helps if you are running some rubber.

In areas where self service junkyards are common, I have a hard time getting anything more than $200 for most rear ends, unless there is something special in them. If I ask too much money, they know they can go to the same place I went to and buy the same axle for less.

I paid $35 for mine at a u-pull-it but that was a junkyard score...
$250 and up would be a good price for a guy wanting one.
