What are you guys paying for a rust free west coast cab?
Been lurking for a long time and have been reading up and gathering info and thinking of biting the bullet and buying a 71 or 72 swb. I have looked at a ton of cl ads and everything seems to have far too much rust around here. What are you guys paying for those rust free Cali cabs and has anyone dealt with shipping?

Re: What are you guys paying for a rust free west coast cab?
I have seen on here recently rust free cabs for less than a grand but that whole truck for a grand is a deal! Around here in Semo cabs seems plentiful for around 200-500 but all need extensive work seems like.

If you want to figure a way to get the truck out to you I can call the guy might be able to get him to hold it. I saw a truck a few weeks ago in better condition for that for $500 without a motor/tranny. It was gone within a day though. I was going to get it as it was only 25 minutes away from me, that one is about an 1:10 away.

Re: What are you guys paying for a rust free west coast cab?
Can usually buy a complete truck for $1000 and there's a ton of rust free trucks all over the US. I sell rust free cabs up here in Canada for around $800 usually when I do find them. More rare up here lol

Re: What are you guys paying for a rust free west coast cab?
I would love to have a complete swb truck for around 1k. Those are pretty rare around these parts on online listings anyways. Guess my best bet is to hit southern Tn and alabama and knock on a few doors.

Re: What are you guys paying for a rust free west coast cab?
Here is the one that I got in Phoenix. Spent its entire life in the area and I picked it up for 200 bucks cash. I just happened to be in the area with my Powerstroke and a big enclosed trailer so didn't cost me anything for delivery. Doesn't need a single bit of rust repair ANYWHERE. All original paint and yes it does have a bit of surface rust but nothing structural at all. More pictures on my thread but I am on my phone and this is all I have on here.

Re: What are you guys paying for a rust free west coast cab?
Better picture. The guy threw in a excellent condition core support "to sweeten the deal" (as if it needed it)

Re: What are you guys paying for a rust free west coast cab?
think you're better off with one still on a chassis...easier to push it onto a trailer and be able to move it around once its home, then figure out how to ship it without damage
