71 C-30 Chevy Wrecker 440 Holmes
Wrecker Fever hit me, pick this truck up today. Pretty nice truck, looks like it began it's life as a wrecker, plain Jane, radio, cig lighter delete. Run good, drives good, everything works, wrecker, lights. Has dollies, chains, J hooks.

You're really in trouble now.You have a wrecker and a truck and trailer. You can drag up more projects than you ccan dream.
Paint looks a bit rough but looks overall in decent shape.Enjoy the new toy!!!

That doesn't look too bad at all. Welcome to the club! It looks like someone gave it some love along the way. I wonder what the mirrors came off of. Looks like they replaced the dash pad with a good saddle one.

Neat truck. Looks to be in pretty good shape for it's age.

Re: 71 C-30 Chevy Wrecker 440 Holmes
Nice wrecker. Did you dig that up around this part of the state? If you decide to go with a different color dash pad, give me dibs on the saddle pad. My interior is slowly becoming saddle, my pad is gray. Jim

Got it below Pine Bluff, a Buddy at Petit Jean Fall Show put me on it. Sadly the dash pad has a crack in it, right in the middle. Thanks, Tim |

Re: 71 C-30 Chevy Wrecker 440 Holmes
Went out for the first mission, Operation; Save the 63 GMC from the Scrappers! 2 hour drive one way, did great. The winch was a life saver, rear tires flat, would not air up, rear brake drums froze up.

That's awesome. Can you send me a picture of how your trailer hitch is mounted, want to put one on mine if I keep it.

I want the 1967--72 wrecker with the long steel bed where you drag the car's or trucks on to your bed where no wheels touch the ones that Nascar used back in the 67--79
