Mallory dual point distributor #2548201
For you points guys, I have an old Mallory dual point distributor that I picked up at a swap meet 10-12 years ago. I had planned to use it on a 327 back then, but never did.
Fits SBC and BBC The points, cap, and rotor look good, but I'd probably replace the condenser, just because it's old. The shaft spins smoothly with .020" end play, and no lateral play. Parts are still available! $50 + actual shipping cost.

Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming. Retired as a factory automation products salesman. Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop. Member here for 24 years! This is the very first car/truck Internet forum I joined. I still used a dial-up modem back then! Last edited by MikeB; 04-23-2023 at 01:48 PM. |
