Should I buy it?

1967 SWB Fleet side, non ac but factory vents were cut in. Has a built 454 with nice heads, I forgot the specs. Fresh paint a year ago, pearl teal. Truck has been in the garage ever since it got out of the paint booth. It has new door seals, weather strip, carpet, new rockers and cab corners installed, 3.73 and 4.11's new in box, 12 bolt and 9 inch rear ends, mini tubbed, new bumpers front and rear, weld drag stars, 2 sets of buckets (non buddy), all new emblems, tons of other stuff I've forgotten. The guy said it only needs a torque converter and to be assembled. I know I should have pics of this, but I don't....yet. I was to busy to go look at it today, but I plan on it soon. Luckily he's only about 10-15 minutes away. The guy wants $6,500 for it but said cash talks. What does everyone think of this. I know it's all speculation right now, but I'll try to get around to getting some pics soon.

Re: Should I buy it?

What do you mean by "needs assembled" ?

if you have do a little final assembly (installing trim, other interior parts) - then that might be okay, but you don't want to pay 6 large for what essentially is a nice basket case, do ya?

Is it at least a roller? or is it resting on jackstands

Maybe -- i dont know

Re: Should I buy it?

Can you get pics? If all it needs is a little final assembly then by all means buy it.

Re: Should I buy it?

That's what I have to go do...get pics. Everybody, including me talks their truck up some. It all sounds good until you really inspect it. I assume it's a roller. The guy lost interest in it after dumping the money into it. He just wants to get something out of it. It was converted to disk brakes and was a frame off as well. I'll have to get some pics as soon as possible, but not sure when that'll be. As it sits right now the guy brought it home from the painter and then hasn't touched it for a year he says. I'll have to get more info on it. I sent the guy an email about it earlier. I guess we'll see how it goes.
