Wipers?'s
if you can believe it we had snow this mornin in MAY thats not the bad part the bad part is that my wipers have never worked properly and i always had to push the knob in then they would wipe put there was no intermittent or anything there is a wire up under the dash that if imove slightly they work fine but this morning i tried to move the snow with my wipers and the wouldnt move then i went and brushed the snow and ice off them then when i tried to wipe there was nothing except for a thumping sound. now I am wondering if I possibly have burnt out the motor or what the hell anyhelp would be good thanks

You may have brokem a linkage or broke the internals of the motor.

i had a similar problem when we had our last ice storm. look in the cowl panel out side the truck. i had a chunk of ice on the crank of the wiper motor. it would not move until i grabbed the wiper and started pushing it manually. then it would only move slow. after seeing what the problem was i just got some warm water and dumped it in the cowl and once the ice started to melt, the wipers started working again.
