need part #
Anyone have a part # for front shocks when usung 2 1/2 drop springs. I dont need high $ shocks....just want to run some monroes or equivelent. I found the stock front shock size works for the rear with 5" drop springs.

I noticed that a company called Spring Tech is selling some on ebay for around $109. Thats not a bad deal for 4 of them.

i just tried that search didnt come up with anything for our trucks.this may sound dumb,but say if you dropped the rear 4 inches then you would need to just find shock that are 4 inches shorter correct?im only askin so i can try searchin for some.thanks

yes you would need shorter shocks in the rear but only if you went as far as removing the original bump stops or c-notch. the same for the front if you used drop spings, but not if you ONLY used dropped spindles.
I emailed a few shock companys and so far monroe was the only one that got back to me. They did not have a cross refrence for what I wanted but they sent me a spec sheet with all there shocks. I forgot the info at work but I will post it as soon as I can. They make some really nice performance shocks, but I just dont need to spend $200 + on them.
