Are the bed mounts different...
if you have wood or steel?
What is factory? The bolts right through the bed floor and through the frame where you can see the bolt heads? Are the bolt heads hidden on wood beds? If so what is the difference?

Re: Are the bed mounts different...
The bed bolts go right through the top on either wood or steel floors, the difference is that the steel floors have a 3" tall cross sill, & they are welded to the bottom of the bed floor, whereas the wood floors have a shorter cross sill (roughly 2 1/4"+ 3/4" wood to make up the height difference. I built a steel floor for my longhorn,& used 2x3x1/8 wall rectangle tubing for the cross braces....... L
