I think I’m done?
I think I’ve reached the end of my build, not sure what to do but show it off! Check it out. Pretty much frame up. Wire wheeled the frame a painted. Complete AAW rewire, all soldered connections and heat shrink (no crimps on the entire truck) autoloc billet switches for windows and door locks. Autoloc one touch up/down window modules. Autolocs door lock actuators/modules. Everything is on weatherpak quick connect plugs and relays. Dakota digital gauges. I ordered a Snowden seat and 7yards of material and built the door panels, the dash, kick panels, subwoofer box. 300mil of sound deadening materials. 10-speaker audio system, 3 amps running off a dsp connected to a retro sound model two radio. All new glass and rubber. Ridetech 4 link, 4 way air ride managed by accuair ride height sensors. Dual 485 viaair and accuair 5 gal tank mounted where the passenger gas tank used to be. All wires and air lines ran inside the frame rails and loomed up. All new light bulbs. LED headlights. Custom front switch back turn signals. 3.73 posi out back. Beefed up 700r4. Budnik spyder wheels and steering wheel to match. New paint job.
It was a fun time building this truck from the ground up, especially because it was my first vehicle. I’ve had it 15 years and it’s finally where I dreamed of. Since I’ve posted the interior on Facebook, I’ve picked up a few customers for some interior products I designed and built for this truck. I guess now that I’m finished with mine, I’ll be putting my little touch of custom out into the c10 world. Kind of excited to have something to do now that I’m “done” with mine! Lmao I’m sure I’ll end up swapping motors out at some point 🤷🏻*♂️ |

Re: I think I’m done?
Wow nicely done!!!! I would finish my step side along the same lines as you, lower stereo, interior and engine last.
Looking forward to seeing your products available on the forum. Cheers

Re: I think I’m done?
Just finished up some stuff for one of my first customers. Shipping from Houston->Maine. Never thought I’d see the day I’d be doing interior work for others 🤘🏼
Couple different dashes through the photos but it just shows the process of what a dash goes through. |

Re: I think I’m done?
Looks good! Do you use the same factory screw holes to reattach it to the dash?
