7000 Factory style tach

I was curious to see if anybody has swapped to the 7000 tach that Cheyenne Super-Man sells. Here is an old thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ight=7000+tach

try searching for camaro tach... it's been covered many times, and quite a few members have it.

Andy,
I thought that he was asking about the remanufactured Factory 5K tach that now goes to 7K with a new lense.

Here is the link to Cheyenne Super-Man's catolog: http://www.cs-m.com/catalog.htm (page 5). If you already have a tach looks like it would cost $199 to convert. $49 for a new 7000rpm lens and $150 for the 7000 tach.

Re: 7000 Factory style tach

that is my truck and my tach. i live 70 miles from gary terry and have bought parts from him for 20 years. i love the tach, you would never know the difference looking, but you get 7 grand, which is great for a small block

Re: 7000 Factory style tach

It is nice to have a 7,000 rpm tach but it would be even nicer to have a SBC that would actually do 7,000 rpm and give you some kind of HP at over 4,500 rpm!!!

Don't worry about it.Just install a 160 MPH speedo at the same time and you're all set.
