some serpentine setup questions
ok I really don't know where to start... but here are a few questions
Assuming I get a setup off of a 4.3 V6 like has been recommended: 1. will power steering pump cables mount right up to my existing steering box? (72 suburban with factory power steering) 2. will I have to custom fabricate AC hoses to mount to factory installed front/rear air. 3. will I have to do custom wiring for the Alternator? 4. I need a different water pump also? thanks!! |

Do yourself a favour and don't get an 85 setup They have one big bracket that is prone to cracking if all of the factory brace bars are not installed (tough to fab them to work on your carb intake)

If you swap the fitting in the rear of the PS pump you can use stock hoses, like Russell said avoid earlier & van setups w/one piece metal brkt, get the 2 piece aluminum style, you need a reverse rotation water pump. Brian
