A good deal?

I called about this truck and he told me only the rockers were rusted, http://atlanta.craigslist.org/sat/cto/2201411653.html. I went and looked at it and the rockers are rusted throught and both fenders are rusted. The body has surface rust. The good thing is it does have a nice spray in bed liner. He said the motor has been rebuilt (350) and it does have new exhaust with cherry bombs. The problem is: it sat for a year; has no P/S, no battery, no fuel pump, and the carbs need to be rebuilt. He said the least he would take is $1000. I did not hear it run because of the fuel pump not bolted in. Oh it has coil springs in the back instead of leaf springs and its a 4sp. Do think this a little high? He told me if it does not sell he would take it to the scrap yard; I did tell him if he was going to do that call me before he did.

That would probably high for that truck around here if one wasn't able to start it up and drive it up and down the driveway.
