Need 1 original chrome hub cap for 66

I just lost one of my hubcaps on a bumpy road and can't find it. If you have an extra I would be much abliged. It does not have to be perfect. Thanks.

Sorry I was not more clear in my description. I need a 1/2 ton, chrome cap. Here is a picture of one on my truck. Mine caps aren't really in the best shape, but I have grown attached to them.

Hi Pimpston,
Your hub cap looks good, but I am not sure what you mean by the inner ring. Is the inner ring for wheels with clips?

And how much do you want for this cap?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Need 1 original chrome hub cap for 66

I received an email notification that OEM4ME posted the following message on this thread, but it never showed up on the site. Here is his message:

.....Noooo, those caps with the inner ring are harder to find! ... say, would that happen to be a slim ring 3/4 ton cap? ......

Sorry OE4ME for reposting something you decided to delete. It seemed like pertinent information. And I couldn't agree more about Pimpston's generosity in helping people in need of parts. He once sent me a hard to find steering shaft spring. Saved the day!

Sorry Pinpston for talking about you so openly. I am still looking for a chrome 1/2 ton hubcap. This is what the back side of one of my hubcaps looks like. The inside diameter is about 10-1/8". I have never seen ones like you are showing in your pictures. Can the inside ring just be removed and it would be the same as a 1/2 ton cap? Or would it be best to keep hunting for a cap made for a 1/2 ton?

it will work if the inner ring is removed, i did it and put the wider one in for very nice painted ones that had the thinner one. the one you have does have a rolled rim so it might be best to hold off til you find the correct one, it may fly off before a cruise...

Thanks for trying to help me out with this. I wouldn't feel good about cutting up a possibly rare hubcap anyway. I will continue my search. Thanks again.
