Re: Need help or suggestions here???

What happened with the stud gun? It looks like the dent in the top picture should come out with a copper stud. Hard to tell from the picture but is the metal apron right next to the lense pushed out? If so, use a body hammer to push it back in and try the stud gun again. I doubt if you will have much luck with the crease in the bottom picture. Just got through pushing mine out as far as I could from the inside and then welded enough metal into the low spot to build it up to level. I have used the gun a lot. Let me know if I can help.

French,
I would sure try the stud gun. Clean the area to bare metal. Make sure you get rid of any rust where the stud or the guns contact tips will touch. It may take several studs but I think you can work it out. Let me know if I can help.

French,
I got to looking at the pictures again. I am working on the same area on my truck right now and I have the light assembly out. Let me try a couple of things today and I'll get back to you. I might have an idea or two to go along with the stud gun.
