How do you/can you remove the kick panel cowl vents?

I need to get them out if possible (or just the passenger side at least) to see if I can put a drain down through there for my under dash a/c and to make that go a little smoother. It would also be a good time to replace my seals on them.

Thanks in advance.

take the bracket handle loose. Open the vent as far as possible and at the bottom there should be a spring loaded pin (pivot point) which you need to push up on to clear the hole and tip out the vent door. If its rusted, spray with some wd-40.
