Vent window rebuild...what size rivets?
What size rivets were used on the vent windows? I've had these disassembled for awhile and don't have any of the old drilled out ones. Thanks!

Re: Vent window rebuild...what size rivets?
Well, I just stripped the vent frame & painted it and now I just need to know what size rivets to use...I'd rather not pay for shipping on the kit, when I can get the rivets at the store.

Re: Vent window rebuild...what size rivets?
I used the proper rivets on the vertical rubber that is at the back of the vent window (the ones you install with a punch). The reason being is that they are "visible" and I thought they looked cleaner. Everywhere else, I used 5/32" x 1/8". I did have to tweak the holes a little on the frame because they were just a little too tight but I have rebuilt 2 sets and they seem to work real well.

Re: Vent window rebuild...what size rivets?
That makes sense... As I mentioned, I had to tweak the holes just ever so slightly to fit the 5/32 rivets.
