Parts Suppliers

I was thinking, when I first started getting into fixing this truck up I was looking for places to buy stuff besides the local Napa. This is the list of what I came up with.

Classic Parts (good prices and selection)
Summit Racing (performance parts and tools)
Energy Suspension Parts (bushings and other rubber)
LMC (easy to read catalog)
Year One (everything)
Jegs (high performance stuff)
Brothers
Eastwood (tools and paints)
J.C. Whitney (basically the K-mart of the automotive world)
And Amazon (yes the have auto parts and damn their prices are good)

What other places are out there and why do you like them? It would be nice to have a list of junk yards for those hard to find parts also.

Im a GM parts guy, and you'd be suprised at how much is still avaliable through GM. That's usually where I get most of it, that or ClassicParts.

Re: Parts Suppliers

I've purchased through Brothers, LMC, Manes, and a few others. The absolute BEST customer service I've ever received was with Manes truck parts. WOW!! I would recommend them to anyone.

Re: Parts Suppliers

How about Classic Industries? I just got the catalog last week. Sure, it was 5 dollars, but it's 900 pages and has most everything from 1947 and up.

I refuse to pay for a catalog. If the only way I know what they have is though a catalog it should be free. I’d pay a little more to one of there competitors just to spite them too.

You can buy from them online or over the phone, they'll throw in a free catalog with your order. Just an FYI

There's that.

I'll also throw in a rep for www.GMCPauls.com

I ordered my spindles through them two days ago, so we'll see how the shipping goes. He's on this forum as well.
