Check out what I've been up to

I've got the front end straight now, and temporarily painted for now. Today I had some new tires mounted on my ralley's and I put the new springs in. Eventually I want to do a drop spindle, but for now all I could afford were 3-4 drop springs. It actually doesn't ride that bad! I haven't even put the trim rings and caps on yet. I couldn't wait to show y'all.

Here are some progress pics...

Travis, it looks good buddy. I wish I coulda been there to help!

To make up for it, I'll trade you my truck for your Chevelle?

WOW! Those are only 3" front drop springs? I put 3's in mine & with a big block it sits higher than yours. I wish mine looked like that. It really changes the look for the better doesnt it?...

Re: Check out what I've been up to

Hey Brad, I wish you could have been here too!!! That's nice of you to offer your truck for the Chevelle, but I'd never hold you too it...

Cornfed, I was a little shocked that it dropped it that much. I went with 255/60's in the rear and 235/60's in the front. After having them mounted, I realized that they are pretty small for the truck. I meant to get a height measurment before I started, but of course I didn't. I was shocked when I had a hard time getting the jack out from underneath it when I let it down. I'm just happy that it rides decent! And I was happy with the new gearing too, going from 31/10.50/15's to 255/60's.

Thanks for the compliments! It meant a lot when my wife came home right after I finished and she said she really liked it. Now I plan on putting an automatic in it so she can drive it..
