Need wireing help
Changed the cab on a 71 chevy3/4 ton 4x4. Can't seem to get the rear signals and brake lights working. Did I pinch a wire, wire backwards? Don't know what I did but now the battery keeps going dead. Any one had any probs like this. Sure beats the Hell-outta-me. Any suggestions?... other than torch it...LOL

Unplug the rear harness at the firewall, see if battery still goes dead. That's a big head start. Rear wires are separate from others when you undo 3/8" bolt at firewall.

rear wires
If I am not wrong I believe these wires to rear come out of firewall by themselves in the curved section. Hope this helps.
