How do I wire in electric speedometer with 700r4
I have a TBI 350 with a 700r4 in my 69 c10 from a 1990 c1500 and have a few questions. First there is 1 purple wire and 1 yellow twisted together from the tailshft which I assume is for the vss? To tie this in with the ECM do I just ground one and and attach the other to the vss wire on the ECM? For an aftermarket electric speedometer do I splice off of the wire to the ECM? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can probably change the tailhousing to one for a mechanical speedo unless you just want electronic. Then add a VSS generator inline to make the computer work.
