For Sale NEW BB 402 & Turbo 400 (not mine)
Hey guys, this guy down the street from me "doesn't do computers" so I am just going to see if there is any interest here to help him sell his engine. He has a huge stack of receipts and a spec sheet if info is requested.
It is a BB 402 with Comp everything, 240 cam, comp springs, forged pistons, 7 qt pan, should be well over 400HP, never been turned over. It was built by a guy who owns his own shop, been building motors for 40 years (mostly race though). He also has a matching turbo 400 tranny also brand new never installed with a 2200 stall converter that is supposed to be "matched" for the comp 240 cam specs. It has a 1 qt oil pan. I don't know much about T400's but I guess it's a nice piece. It's been all built. He wants exactly what he put into the motor $4200, or $3800 without valve covers and headers. Come to think of it, I didn't even ask what he wants for the tranny, damn it. If someone wants to know more, I'll ask him tomorrow. I have HUGE pictures of this stuff if someone wants me to email....
