put the 84 short fleet to work today
I guess its good I didnt do my 2.5"/4" drop on it yet.
but the 305/th350 and 3.08 gears pulled better than I thought. luckly I only had to go 12 miles in stop and go traffic. my trans was getting hot (was slipping a tad when I reached my house) bought the old tractor for real cheap. came with all the tins power coated and the owner had the shop manual for the tractor. It needs some wiring, some paint, and put the tins back on. But it runs fairly good, brakes work and the hydraulics work great.
