I recently installed the vinyl letters on my dads 70' and they look awesome. His grille was a stamped grille.

I bought the repro surround and just added the stick on letters using my old one as a guide for spacing.

...the truck shop lists them for $365 with letters ...i seen one in carlisle for even cheaper ....i asked the guy if it was gm and he said no it was aftermarket but the letters were made into the grille just like the original...so i dont know if there just cheaper than anybody else or the guy just didnt have a clue...i even thought maybe that one was for display and the one you get doesnt have letters but the guy said the one you buy would be exactly like the one laying there......i put a thread a while back on here asking if anyone has heard of an aftermarket grille with letters but nobody did

Your parts guy should be able to offer some leeway on the pricing for you. I bought one at GM dealer for 305 bucks.
