? about brake booster ?
I'm working on the brakes of a 69 lwb, converted to 5 lug, power boster.
Is there anyone running a 3/4ton brake booster on a 1/2ton lwb truck? I just can't seem to the the right kind of brake peddle feel. Wanted to know if the 3/4ton booster would make any difference. Thanks, Matthew

We are using a 3/4 ton brake booster and master cylinder on a 1/2 ton LWB
truck and it works great. It is not "touchy" but it certainly will stop when you step on it. Jim |

My conversion to pwr brakes included a 3/4 ton booster and it works awesome, I believe I had to use the linkage rods from the 3/4 ton truck to make it work. I don't know what the difference is if any between 1/2 and 3/4 ton booster as far as braking force, but it darn sure stops better than with the ol' "manuel" brakes!
